Today, the 1st of March 2012, Capacitas exchanged contracts on its new office in the heart of Clerkenwell. We have taken 2,181 square feet in a brand new building close to the upgraded Farringdon station and will be moving in early in March. The building is of mixed-use, comprising offices and apartments in two separated units, and is developed by Marldon who have several successful projects in the area.

We have secured sufficient space to grow for the next five years in this prime London location. Farringdon station is due to become the future rail transport hub of London, with Underground, Thameslink and Crossrail lines connecting here; this will enable our UK and overseas customers to visit our office more easily. With London Luton and Gatwick airports already on a direct rail link via Thameslink, Heathrow and City airports will also be connected via Crossrail in 2018. Additionally we already have St Pancras International only 6 minutes away, making it easy for our customers from Paris or Brussels to visit us. The adjacent building, also developed by Marldon, offers self-contained serviced apartments for short-term rent; this provides convenient accommodation for visiting customers.

The office space has a slightly enlarged training room so we will continue to run training courses, tutorials and seminars at our offices.

Andy Bolton, CEO said of this move:

"We are investing heavily in the new office, furniture, IT equipment and an enhanced ERP system to support the expansion due to our continued success. Our consultancy services are increasingly in demand from companies who need advice and experience on best practice capacity and performance techniques. We will soon be announcing our revenue over the 2011-2012 financial year, a year of unprecedented growth for us. We have recruited three new graduates to start in summer 2012, in addition to our three industrial placement students for the 2012-2013 academic year. We see this investment as an enabler for continuing this growth over the next five years."
